Cruise Facilities
The Captain knows!
A Cruise is the vacation of a lifetime. A
vacation you will never forget. Sailing from port to port, meeting
likeminded people while you enjoy great and memorable onboard shows. A
cruise truly provides a different concept to a vacation. Different
cruises provide different amenities to keep you busy and occupied
during your trip to your destination.
The most popular cruise destinations? Hawaii and the
Caribbean of course. But Costa Rica, the Middle East, Singapore and
Europe are popular as well. And so are some other, less know
destinations. In fact, nowadays almost any major city near an ocean, is
or soon will be a destination for cruise ships.
Your cruise starts with deciding on your destination.
Find out what the climate is, especially in the month you’ll be
there. Remember Australians celebrate Christmas in the sun while London
may be covered in snow. Love the sun and want to be sure? Consider a
Caribbean Cruise.
The climate is not the only thing you want to
consider. The city and even the country you are about to visit must
make you curious. There is no point spending so much money to reach the
spot, only to find out that you cannot actually enjoy yourself here.
And to do this, the best thing to do would be to browse through the
various sites found on the internet. And my site, of course, is a great
way to start – if I say so myself :)
Cruise Facilities
When browsing for the perfect cruise for your vacation, you have to
take into consideration your budget, the facilities found on the cruise
and how long your vacation permits you to stay on the cruise. The
reason you have to find out about the facilities offered on the cruise
is because there is no reason for you to pay for facilities and
amenities you don’t intend to use. If seen it happening a million
times and always felt sorry for those passengers. So excuse me for
being a bit… well, you know: if you don’t intend to use
any sports facilities, the casino or the bar, there is no use in
choosing a cruise plan offering all these amenities. You could instead
choose some plan that suits you better.
Cruise Comfortable
However, on the other hand, if you are traveling with the family, you
may have to consider if the cruise offers sufficient facilities that
will keep your family members busy. Otherwise your vacation may not be
as enjoyable as you planned it to be. Children tend to get very
fidgety when idle. The Captain knows!
When considering your budget for the cruise, the budget
depends largely on where you intend to stay while on the cruise. The
inner rooms charge less, while staterooms charge more. You have to
choose which room makes you comfortable during your stay and pay
accordingly.
That’s not the only way to keep a close eye to
your budget. There are basically different types of cruises found
today; catering to the needs and holiday plans for different people.
You have honeymoon packages, adults’ only packages, senior
citizens packages, holiday season packages and family packages.
It is basically better (and often better affordable) to join
generalized packages as you get to meet people having similar interests
as yours. And that’s great! Especially on a ship.
Cruise Pleasant and Memorable
Though these packages state that their costs are inclusive of all costs
involved in the cruise, it is better for you to find out if
that’s completely true. Sometimes there are hidden costs which
you will have to pay later. Be aware and don’t believe the
salesmen because he looks nice and is helpful :)
One more thing: on most cruise ships the
‘chef’ prepares great meals. And he is very willing in
preparing special meals for vegetarians, diabetics, pressure patients
or any one with particular dietary needs. But be on the safe side and
confirm if the cruise is able to provide meals according to your
specifications. Remember: the kitchen staff is on the ship too. They
can’t go out for extra groceries.
Want to know more about discount cruises? Read
the article I wrote on that topic. And did you know you can submit your
own articles about cruises on this site for the world to see?
Isn’t that fun?. Go to ‘Submit articles’ on the left
side and you’ll see how easy it is. I love to hear your cruise stories!
Cruise and have Fun!
